About me
I began my professional career with Gayle Alexander in 1996 when she invited me into her practice. Some of you may remember Gayle and her depth, wisdom, and outstanding career. Her career spanned four decades and included associations with Vicktor Frankl, Elizabeth Kubler Ross, and John Claypool to name a few.
Today, two decades later, my life’s work continues to incorporate my formal education, ongoing training, life experiences, and time with Gayle into my private practice. I am guided by my desire to create a positive, encouraging, supportive environment that enables clients to find hope, purpose, and direction for their lives. I believe that the connection between the therapist and the client can be a dynamic setting in which to support change. |
My practice serves individuals, couples, and families and my expertise includes proficiency in individuals and couple therapy, family therapy, stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and life transition issues. My work with eating disorders and individuals with disordered eating includes a professional treatment team consisting of a physician, a dietitian, and myself.
One of my joys and passions is helping individuals grow emotionally and spiritually while striving to meet one’s potential, which is always a worthwhile goal.
